IDF targeted its own using Hannibal Directive
Israeli Newspaper Haaretz reported that during Hamas's October 7 assault, the Israeli military implemented the "Hannibal Directive," resulting in the deaths of Israeli soldiers and civilians.
This directive allows the IDF to take drastic measures, including using lethal force against its own soldiers if captured, to prevent their abduction by enemy forces.

One day a young IDF soldier with career ambitions asked Yoav Gallant how to be promoted in rank. “That’s simple,” replied Gallant. “If you vanquish 5 children, that makes you a lieutenant. If you vanquish 15 children, that makes you a Major. If you vanquish 30 children, that makes you a Coronel. And if you vanquish 100 children, that makes you a General.” “And what if you vanquish 16,000 children?” asked the young soldier. “That,” responded Gallant, “makes you the most moral army in the world.”

Logically since Hamas wanted hostages to trade for Palestinian prisoners held in Israeli prisons, they would have wanted them alive. So it is the Israeli forces who would have caused the deads on Oct. 7th 2023 and now do not want to corporate with UN investigations.

Someone’s hope may come true.
Erdogan traded threats with Israeli officials on Sunday over the IDF’s ongoing military operation in Gaza, as well as rapidly escalating tensions with Lebanese-based armed group Hezbollah. Speaking at a rally in his hometown of Rize, Erdogan suggested that Türkiye could “enter” Israel in order to help the Palestinians.
“We must be very strong so that Israel can’t do these ridiculous things to Palestine,” Erdogan said. In the past he has condemned Israel’s actions in Gaza to those of Nazi Germany – and likened Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to Adolf Hitler.
BUT
Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz has warned that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan could end up like former Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein, who was toppled and executed by a US-backed coalition, if he attempts to intervene in the Gaza war.
Saddam Hussein was overthrown during the 2003 US-led invasion of Iraq. He went into hiding, but was eventually caught by US troops, convicted by an Iraqi court of crimes against humanity, and executed by hanging in 2006.
The US under President George W. Bush claimed at the time that the Iraqi leader had connections to Al-Qaeda – a group behind the 9/11 terrorist attacks – and had weapons of mass destruction. Both claims later turned out to be false, but Washington used them as rationale for attacking Iraq, despite having failed to secure the approval of the UN Security Council.

@Turkey attack Israel?
You brought up an interesting point here. Turkey is a NATO nation while Israel is not. Normally, NATO nations attack and invade other non-NATO nations, not the other way round.
Also, under Article 5, NATO nations are obliged to defend fellow NATO nations that are being attacked, so if Israel tries to be funny with Turkey, then NATO nations will have to help defend Turkey, even if the warmongering US is behind Israel.
So if one fine day, Turkey decides to invade Israel, then the US CANNOT help Israel fight Turkey because Turkey is NATO. Of course, the US can choose to ignore whatever articles in NATO, like how they choose to ignore the genocide in Gaza, but the other NATO nations may not agree.
However, Erdogan has been and is a blowhard, he won’t dare to attack Israel except to make a lot of noise.
