I am not a ‘woke’

I am known to be a Democratic Socialist. Democracy comes before Socialism. Traditionally, people regard us as "Leftist" or "Center-Left" politically.
In recent years, more people come up to me and ask me whether I am a "Woke". They thought all leftists are Woke. They are mistaken.
Interestingly, somehow, people start to identify Wokeism with Marxism.
Wokeism is loosely defined as an attitude which is extremely sensitive to "discrimination, social and political unfairness" with a strong sense of self righteousness in their beliefs so much so that they would in turn end up in activating a Cancel Culture.
On the extreme of Wokeism is ironically, authoritarian or dictatorship. They would dictate to everyone what is right and what is wrong. It's ironic that Wokes didn't voice out against the unscientific and high handed discrimination of Unvax due to Vaccine Mandates. Their self righteousness in getting what they want overwhelmed their pseudoe narratives of "Respect, Inclusiveness, Social Injustice and Inequalities".
Nope. I am a highly awaken person but definitely not a Woke. Wokeism is easily manipulated by people with different agendas who may not really believe in the Core Values of progressive humanity.

A few notes:
Truly the world is no longer linear and efforts to describe it that way fall short. Is it possible that one side of the current political spectrum tends to employ unfair tactics that tend to vitiate the discussion? The current political model seems more like a “cush ball” where the center or core is constantly pulled in a hundred directions. Some battles appear to be a straight on tug-of-war, but with so many others pulling laterally and vertically, the traditional horizontal standards fail us. This is in fact insoluble. So why add another blur-zone? A generation from now, people won’t even know what those terms mean.
To finish, I consider China vs Russia a good example: where are they now and why the difference? Russia went directly to a western-style democracy but China kept the central government with the same people running the affairs and being able to create and execute mid-term plans for the well being of the country. I don’t see Chinese people desperate asking for democracy nor I consider them to be a perfect model to try to copy. But we need to have the people capable to create and implement a new way, open to adjustments as we go ahead.
