F35 will just be sitting ducks if they could not take off and airborne.
Singapore has acquired a number of F35s but currently none is deployed in the tiny island state.
If there is a military conflict taking place in this tiny island state, experts doubt if the F35s could have the chance to get airborne.
An aircraft carrier, with all the F35s the island state has acquired so far, constantly cruises at a safe distance, should be the solution to this predicament.
Singapore needs a state of the art aircraft carrier badly!

I don’t think SG has any carrier for you need a battle group to protect it. The cost of such would be billions, but I am sure it is peanuts.
