Russia unleashed a massive missile and drone assault on NATO-backed Ukraine amid rising tensions over the Kursk incursion. On August 26, Russian forces fired over 100 missiles and around 100 attack drones, causing widespread devastation across Ukraine. Explosions rocked Kyiv early in the morning, resulting in at least 5 deaths, while Lutsk also faced damage with an apartment block hit.
