Isreal strikes Russian air base in Syria

Author: In an obvious attempt to escallate the war in the middle east and force the warmongering US into the conflict, the Israeli air force has targeted Syria's Khmeimim base, where Russian forces are stationed. An arms depot in the base was destroyed as a result.
Meanwhile, Russia has advised its citizens to leave Israel as soon as possible. Russian Ambassador Anatoly Viktorov advised citizens to leave while they still can. With 1.5 million Russians in Israel and Russia also evacuating from Lebanon, tensions are rising in the region.
Observers have opined that Russia is likely to retaliate, the worrying question remains as to how Putin intends to retaliate against Israel's provocation.
