US and Israel exposed for threatening ICC

Author: International Criminal Court’s (ICC) Chief Prosecutor Karim Khan issued an unusual warning about alleged threats to his office and the world court. The Chief Prosecutor claimed attempts to intimidate amid buzz of possible arrest warrants against Israeli leaders including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
“The office insists that all attempts to impede, intimidate or improperly influence its officials cease immediately,” he said in a statement.
News website Axios reported this week that the ICC was being warned by members of Congress in both the Republican and Democratic Parties that arrest warrants for senior Israeli officials would be met with U.S. retaliation.
