A steep climb for the past 2 days. Initially I hope this quasi lockdown will help to flatten the curve but it seems unlikely now. 2 reasons: 1) Number of unlinked cases are still increasing. 2) We have over 200K foreign workers and most of them are living in crowded and unhygienic dormitories. Instead of locking down all dormitories... 

From Tuesday Singaporeans have been under the same lockdown measures as much of the rest of the world. Calling it a Circuit Breaker, as the PM did, does not make it different from the lockdown that has been in place for over two weeks in the UK and in most of Europe for much longer. In fact it is an admission of failure and...
