Someone said that PMDs and bicycles are needed for the last mile. I like to share my views and solution. Singapore is very small. There is a bus stop every 0.4 km. So, there is no need to anyone to travel the last mile (2.2 km). Most people should be able to get to a nearest bus stop within 1 km, even if they live off the main... 

I welcome the decision to ban e-scooters from all footpaths from 5 November 2019. Calls to the government to ban PMDs from our roads were loud, numerous and often enough but the government has until recently being slow to act at best and oblivious to the clear and present dangers that irresponsible riding and speeding PMDs pose... 

I got retrenched last year, my position was re-defined and given to foreign talent. After working 32 years in that company in a managerial position, now I am a security guard in a hotel.
