I would like to provide an important feedback as I was faced with a child emergency and the GRAB driver refused to ferry us to the A&E, claiming that transport regulations forbade her to do so. I was surprised to read in ST that a lady living in a two-room HDB flat said that an air con cost $1000 which she couldn’t afford. Then I realised that she could only use the kind of air cons that don’t require a hole to be knocked in a wall, and that even if HDB allowed her to knock a hole in the wall, getting a contractor... 

I will like to share some bad experience from a friend that has fallen on bad time and seeked help from social assistance (MSF). He had some problems with soccer gambling debt and being a responsible person, he decided to clean up his act. Unfortunately, he did not have any previous full-time job experience besides his stint...
