I remain flabbergasted lately, each time l read about some of our political leaders in Singapore advocating for our youth to be more active in volunteering for social causes. I am not sure if they intended their advocacy as a joke or are they just being sarcastic. Any youth would know by now how well-paid our political leaders... 

My friend asked me to express this opinion. Many people are quite fed up of the PAP and they want to change the government. When they look at the quality of the candidates standing under the other parties, they do not feel comfortable about voting for the non PAP. He also made this point. I do not know Miss Poh Li San personally and I sincerely wish her well. However, she was quoted as saying that "I am willing to enter politics if offered the chance" and I would like to take strong issue with what she has said. Miss Poh should understand that any worthwhile political involvements must be proactive and spontaneous....
