I chanced upon a New Paper’s article on 29 Mar and was intrigued by the findings on a survey of 1, 000 young voters. The survey found that 2 out of 5 young Singaporeans – aged between 21 and 35 years old – will not vote if it is not compulsory. Moreover, about 1 in 4 young voters feels “politically alienated” and lamented... 

Almost one and a half month later, Minister Mentor Mr Lee Kuan Yew has finally apologized for the   offensive remarks he made on the sensitive topic of  social integration  of  Singaporean Muslims here. He has commented that his controversial remarks were made two or three years ago during the book interview with a group...
