TR EMERITUS

Singaporeans by now are getting used to faulty train lines, weekly murders and crowded malls. Nothing can shock us anymore and we somehow recover very fast after each adverse incident. Maybe our adversity quotient is very high, trained by the establishment to trust the very ones that we have put our faith in. Things have deteriorated... 

Our national paradox is that while the Chinese can wake up hating China, he does not cease to be Chinese, but the day we wake up hating Singapore, we can easily discard the Singaporean identity…………… It is not important as a Singaporean, whether one is anti US or anti China, what is important is Singapore’s national... 

The inadequate financial controls and weak governance report by the AGO sound like it was made from a neighbouring third world country but shockingly it happened in our first world status nation. For the second year running, lapses were found in most major ministries and some of the financial mishaps made WP's APHTEC misgivings...
