Dear Straits Times, I refer to the 9 Apr 2011 letter by Mr Bryan Goh. Mr Goh says it doesn't matter how much our ministers are paid, only that our government is cheap. He also says that our 13% income tax + 7% GST is value for money compared to Western countries' 40% to 60% tax rate. Cheap government doesn't justify expensive...
