Driving a car speeding at 124km/hr on a normal road meant to be 70km/hr is amount to driving a killer machine on the street! How could it be just a fine of $800? How could it be possible that a van driver who is doing a legitimate U turn more dangerous than the driver driving at 124km/hr on a normal street, not even Expressway,... 

This seems to be the recurring theme of the People's Action Party government, providing one - off rebate, vouchers etc. but the increase and rises in tax is permanent & forever! Is the timing of these increases coincidence? Other countries are not increasing taxes as this point when the world economy looks bleak with global... 

I believe that some more alert mrt commuters have noticed that at some mrt stations, some announcements are broadcasted in dialects. My personal experience with one was at the Commonwealth station.
