I strongly support the call for supermarkets to charge for plastic bags that they provide free to their customers now. I acknowledge that it is an important but not as urgent an issue and therefore, too many people do not understand enough or simply do not give a hoot regarding the environmental unfriendly-ness of plastic bag...
