You can’t help but feel acutely the sharp contrast between how Taiwan, South Korea or Japan handled the Corona virus situation viz-a-viz how we have handled the crisis. Right from the beginning, our wisdom has been shackled tightly by the WHO. WHO says virus not airborne, no need to wear masks, so Singapore too says virus... 

Instead of ensuring a safe and fair election, so that the health and safety of voters are not compromised, this shameless and irresponsible government is going to pass a Bill that makes provisions for candidates who are ill because of Covid-19, not to have to file nomination papers in person, and for voters who are in quarantine,... 

This problem has been raised for a decade but MOM has closed both eyes on it. I fear the worst. Quarantine 30K of foreign workers in these quarters with such living conditions will only result in massive infections.
