Let me share my unpleasant shopping experience at Sim Lim Sq eight years ago. Briefly, on 8/10/2005, I bought a PVR (Personal Video Recorder) at $300 from one Sim Lim Sq shop. Used for 3 days and it's spoilt. Returned to the shop to complain but was advised to re-install the SW. Nine days later, it's spoilt again. Went back...
