I want to praise and highlight the performance of national swimmer, Joseph Isaac Schooling, 18, at the ongoing 2013 World Swimming Championships in Barcelona. Lim Swee Say likes Din Tai Fung's toothpicks so much that he always takes away half a box of toothpicks when he visits their restaurant (ST Photo). 林部长大言不惭 林瑞生部长上鼎泰丰吃小笼包后，一定顺手拿走半盒的牙签，部长说： 有些餐馆的牙签太粗太厚，根本“挖不到肉”，鼎泰丰的刚刚好，所以情不自禁（大意）。 这个林瑞生一直想做个哲人型的政治家，所以每次都要讲些生活小故事或者童话来铺排大道理，可惜“才疏学浅”，弄巧反拙的常常闹笑话。 有人尝试评论这则《海峡时报》的新闻，结论除了暗示林部长小贪之外（吴姨庆康则赞同，虽然不敢大剌剌拿走半盒），也没什么好说的。 其实这是一个可以上升到如何使用公共设施的问题，餐馆提供牙签并不是为了益某个特定人士（虽然位高权重者欣赏也是与有荣焉），而是为了给所有上门的顾客需要时一个方便，谁会用到，不知道？我们可以推测鼎泰丰可能为了林部长的上门，而把桌上的一些牙签、酱油、辣椒等物品都补齐了，可是接下来的顾客就没有这种礼...
