Is such massive population growth sustainable?

Have a look at this:     22,550 Singapore Citizens and 32,710 PRs were granted between June 2018 - June 2019. This means that over 50,000 people became 'residents' within a one-year period. Is this kind of growth sustainable? Doesn't it dilute the Singaporean core? To put it into perspective, we've had an infusion...
