Why VERS will work Some time ago, my boyfriend and I were still debating if the government can implement VERS effectively. My boyfriend estimated VERS to cost the government at least a few billion dollars annually. He performed his estimates based on the assumption that the VERS payout is about a few hundred thousand dollars....
