Of all the companies that were bailed out during the pandemic, SIA probably received the most money. It would have received hundreds of million of dollars just from the Job Support Scheme alone, given that it is one of the biggest employer in Singapore, and that the aviation sector benefited from the highest tier of support....

Hungry Ghost month is just round the corner and my good friend Syafarin Sarif posted a photo on a hawker stall selling "Goreng Hantu". I have explained it was a simple delicacy of oil fried dough (well I guess other culture will pan fry or bake doughs but Chinese use hot oil to deep fry them!) which was made out of Chinese folk...
