Uniquely Singapore – Singapore police unable to complete simple investigation after 200 days

Two hundred days and the police at the Cantonment Police Complex have not completed their investigations into Cooling Off Day offences allegedly committed by me, Roy Ngerng and 2 Others. Our computers, notebooks, mobile phones, disk drives, hard disks, thumb drives etc costing thousands of dollars are still with the police....

ST confirms Singapore Workers’ Unions are useless

I refer to ST article, “Guaranteed pay rises will bring relief, say cleaners”. As usual, ST has again published a half truth because not all cleaners will get a guaranteed pay rise. But in its attempt to carry PAP’s balls, ST has actually shot its master and confirmed the non existence or uselessness of workers’ unions....

The Newpaper reported on 9 Dec 2016 that the Court of Appeal comprising Chief Justice Sundaresh Menon and Judges of Appeal Chao Hick Tin and Andrew Phang “gave notice that lawyers who submit such last minute applications will now have to explain why they could not raise the arguments during earlier appeals.” TNP went on...
