We now see how dangerous it is to have a Gov't which is out of touch with the ground. It pulls the entire country down. Just a few days ago, a friend in the civil service commented how "scathing" of the Gov't my Facebook postings have become. I told him this is because I see even the new ministers behaving like the ministers... 

Not too long ago, there was a time when we sing the song "We are Singapore", and feel proud doing so. But now as we sing it, our voices expresses a tinge of sadness. Within this song itself, our National Pledge resides. No other song has it. And our pledge reads, that, "We, the citizens of Singapore, Pledge ourselves as one...
