This is with reference to a thread in the TR Forum asking what does it mean by spoiling one's vote, as stated in a ST article written by Elgin Toh:  Straits Times ask opposition supporters to “spoil” their votes The ST article calls on voters to vote "credible" Oppo parties, and even went to the extent of telling voters... 

If you are an interviewer, imagine if one of your job candidates tells you that he can only work part-time because it is impossible to work full-time as he has 8 other part-time jobs as a director of public-listed companies. On top of the half-in-half-out poor job commitment, he insists that he must be paid a full-time salary...
