I shall tell you why buying a house is to tie you down and trap you in the system. For GEN Y and those buying house now, or who have bought in past 5-6 yrs, BTO prices were bought at sky high prices. So imagine having to take 20-25 yrs loan,after that how much would one have for retirement? One can argue for degree holders...
