The recent staff axing by state-owned Surbana Jurong will set a very dangerous precedence for all companies in Singapore. This is concrete proof that any company in Singapore can simply disguise retrenchment as mass termination, simply because of technicalities. And because Surbana Jurong is state-owned, they pretty much set...
