Singtel's shortlist of the 12 Hawkers for their Hawker Heros Challenge I think it's weird that the Singtel Hawker Heroes doesn't feature what I think is Singapore's most famous foods. It's true that the finalists were picked by popular vote, but how did Singtel come up with the 12 Contenders? Is it possible that the hawkers... 

1. They tell us our land is scarce and precious.... if that's so why use it to host 40% of our foreign population when Singaporeans have difficulty getting homes. 2. They say they want higher fertility but overcrowding is a main cause of low fertility 3. They say we need strict rules on speech and politics because Singaporeans...
