TR EMERITUS

The cheers started at about 8 and were overwhelming. I live in block 304 Avenue 5, so went down around 10.30 pm for a quick look. My neighbours were lining the corridors, looking down on the scene and the little kids were going ‘Huat Ah!’ Under the block there were 3 police officers, looking bemused and discussing the election... 

Dear Mr Low Thia Khiang , WP mentor and adviser and to all his party appointees. Our sincere wishes and success in all your endeavours in regards to the coming BE in Hougang. We may not be in your ward, but we really have to salute you, your staff and all others in WP, whom have made tremendous sacrifices to honestly serve... 

I am grateful to our intellectuals like Dr Tommy Koh for stepping forward with their ideas for our national development. For a long period intellectuals with their superb or even esoteric ideas were regarded as a threat to the incumbent government and unceremonially incarcerated without trial or reason for decades. So much so...
