TR EMERITUS

I served as Mr Lee Kuan Yew’s Principal Private Secretary from 2008 to 2011. It was the best posting I ever had, as I had the opportunity to learn directly from Mr Lee and observe how he dealt with different types of people and handled difficult issues. During those 3 years, I also got to know Wei Ling and we became friends.... 

Tens of thousands of commuters were frustrated by major train disruptions during the evening peak hours yesterday (28 Jun). Both the North-South and East-West lines were affected.SMRT and LTA blamed the disruptions on a fault in the new signalling system.Many commuters were calling cab and private-hire car services to get home.... 

Damanhuri Abas Parliament convened for 2 days to address accusations that the PM abused state organs for personal benefits. Ended with the accused himself declaring his own innocence to the nation under full parliamentary privileges and immunity. How nice. Judge, jury and executioner supreme. If this is not a validation of abuse...
