Despite the strong efforts put up by PAP's candidate Desmond Choo in "dishing out carrots" to Hougang's residents, he could only manage to obtain a vote swing of 2.7%. In GE last year, he obtained 35.2%. In today's (26 May) by-election result, he managed to improve by 2.7% to reach 37.9%. Since Mr Yaw Shin Leong was expelled...
